Positive: Great cottage. Had everything we needed as a family. Perfect location for exploring Northumberland.

Negative: Couldn't find the hive control for the heating in the living room as described.

Positive: A very lovely cottage in a convenient location. Bigger than expected, nicely furnished, comfy beds and sofas, in general well equipped.

Negative: THERE WERE NO TOWELS - although it was mentioned in the small print, we did not see this in advance, and given that we arrived on a Sunday evening, it was quite awkward and impacted on our planned activities the next morning. If you are not going to provide towels it needs to be very clear in both the booking and arrival information - I'd had 2 info emails from the hosts which had lots of info that was a lot less relevant, but did not see anything saying to bring own towels. There was an EV charger on the house but we were not allowed to use it (even though I checked with the owners). It would be nice if it could be used for a fixed charge if its too complicated to work out individual usage costs.

Positive: Location great. Room sizes great. No towels on arrival. Someone came in on the second day and left a bath mat, but no towels. Toilet brush urgently needs to be replaced

Negative: Towels present on arrival. We had to buy towels. Toilet brush is condemnable. No slip mat for the shower over the bath Toilet seat and lid not clean !! Oven was not clean either. Perhaps using a different cleaning company may help.

Positive: Great cottage with everything we needed. Sheep and Alpaca neighbours was fun bonus.

Negative: A small milk on arrival would've been nice but a quick 10 mins down to Alnwick fixed that.

Positive: Nice cottage with comfy beds & good cooking/ washing facilities. Loved watching the sheep go down the lane. Good TV with streaming services Nice suprise to find we had wifi.

Negative: Confusing description of what is provided. It said there is no Internet access, there is WiFi with a code. It says linen provided, admittedly when I saw this, I didn't keep reading to the end, where I would have seen that towels are not provided. We had to dash to Sainsbury's to get some towels. The toiletries provided consisted of 1 carex hand-wash in the bathroom. It was hot when we stayed, but I couldn't sleep with the window open because of road noise, perhaps a fan would be a good addition in the bedrooms.
