Positive: The convenient location in Horten was perfect for an overnight stay. Unique set out of these compact rooms with the toilet and basin within the shower cubicle. Good shower. Straight forward keypad check in with code.

Negative: Worth remembering that after a shower the cubicle floor will be wet. We had two rooms and both rooms had one wood louse/bigger bug. Which was unfortunate but would not have stopped us staying there.

Positive: This is an apartment-style accommodation that was upgraded very recently. There are two distinct parts with separate entrances, the old one and the brand new one that had been opened for less than a week when I stayed there. My room was in the new part. It is basically a standardized student residence room, with a small built-in kitchen, a small desk, etc. It was super clean as it was new, so new that it still smelled of building chemicals. The building's location is within walking distance of supermarkets and main tourist attractions (15-20min). The free parking is nice (note that you have to register your car at an electronic kiosk near the reception desk -- parking is free only for hotel customers, so you'll be fined if you don't register).

Negative: The room was soulless. Those copy-paste room designs are made to be the cheapest possible, not the most memorable. It's OK for a couple of nights though. Some details need to be fixed, for example the curtains (no day curtains for privacy, and night curtains too narrow to cover the entire window). Work on the building wasn't finished while I was there, and there was a crew drilling and hammering not far away. The parking lot wasn't done either so it was just dirt.

Positive: Brand new, seems we were the first guests in that apartment :) We were a family of 4 people, the apartment was comfortable for us. Two sleep in the living room, two in the bedroom. There is no door between the rooms, but sound isolation is OK. There is a street next to the building, but with the windows closed it's quiet. Ventilation works, although there no aircon in the room, the temperature was OK in the end of June. Location is good, 5-10 min walk to the centre. There is usually no one on reception, but you can always call and get help. All doors are with a code so you don't need a key - very convenient. Kitchen with all you need. Washing room is available.

Negative: We had to ask for bedlinen and towels change a couple of times, but that is probably due to the fact that the place is new, the processes are being tuned. The beds are soft - but that is my personal thing :) Many like it.
