Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Horseshoe Bay. We went for a birthday and found lots of fun things to do at the resort and in the area. However, we did find it difficult with the restaurants and was hoping for a little more mainstream menus. We ended up eating away from the resort for most meals. I was also hoping there would be a microwave in the room, especially given that they have all of the restaurants and people tend to have leftovers. Finally, I feel like the mini golf should be included in the stay or at least highly discounted. They wanted to charge us $25 a person to play. We did enjoy the heated pools and all of the water features and all kinds of different little paths we found to walk. The resort is beautiful! I would stay here again, but would be better prepared food wise.
