Positive: Great location. Perfect little private garden. Spacious accommodation. Lovely reception and great welcome basket.
Negative: This is nitpicking, but Would have been nice to have been left some oil to cook with, but I’m sure would have been provided if we had asked.

Positive: Fantastic setting and a nicely done rental cottage. Had pretty much everything I needed and a really nice host. I spent a lot of the days out but it was nice knowing I had somewhere cosy to come back to. Great woodland to walk the dog in the morning/evening. Amazing wildlife around the grounds with hundreds of deer.
Negative: Sensitive smoke alarms which went off 4 times when I used the hobs, despite the extractor fan and all windows and doors open. Staying above a host did feel a bit like I was imposing and felt the need to tip toe around. No bath meant bathing the baby in the sink was a challenge.
Summary: I would certainly recommend this little gem but only with older children.

Positive: Very friendly and helpful hosts. Amazing location set in a secluded wooded valley. Use of separate, lovely garden which we used every day for our evening meal. Spacious and very comfortable accommodation.

Positive: The accommodation was absolutely lovely! The beds were very comfy and cosy and the place was immaculate. The tea/coffee and breakfast provided were a lovely touch. The owner was also lovely and nothing was too much.
Negative: There wasn't anything really, sadly the heating tripped and so one day was a little cold, but when we got hold of the owner he fixed it straight away. Excellent service. The only small thing I would say, is yu need to walk up wooden flight of stairs to get in and it's a little slippy in the rain, but that was it.
Summary: Beautiful, exceeded our expectations

Positive: It was clean with a good climate, friendly staff and a great location for a pass by stay on a road trip.
Negative: There was not even a bottle of water offered for courtesy, mattresses were on the stiff side but we were able to rest enough.
