Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Hoopoe Glamping. What we loved most was the beautiful nature surrounding us - it felt peaceful, quiet, and very special. You can really feel that everything there has been created with love and attention to detail. Many things are handmade by the owners themselves, which gives the whole place a very personal, authentic, and warm atmosphere. The owners were very kind and gave us great recommendations for the area. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable from the beginning. One thing to mention: it was quite warm at night, but luckily there was a ventilator in the tent, which helped a lot. I also really loved the animals around us — turtles, cats, lizards and all the small signs of nature everywhere. Of course, you should keep in mind that this is glamping in nature, so there can be some insects around in the forest. But the tents are very well prepared, and as long as you don’t leave the tent open, there is absolutely no problem inside. Overall, it is a very special and lovingly created place for everyone who wants to be close to nature while still feeling comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Everything is beautifully maintained and you can feel that it has been created and cared for with genuine love and passion. Every corner reflects the dedication and thought that has gone into making the experience unique. The hosts were simply amazing. Warm, kind and attentive, they made us feel at home from the very beginning. Their hospitality added something truly magical to our stay and made everything effortless and enjoyable. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and authentic. Waking up surrounded by nature, enjoying the silence and spending time in such a beautiful setting was an unforgettable experience. Without a doubt, one of the most special places we have stayed. We would highly recommend Hoopoe Glamping to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, nature and exceptional hospitality. Positive: The owners were so friendly & gave us a warm welcome. The setting was lovely, and we enjoyed the decor and comfort of the tent. We were there in mid-October, and we were plenty warm in the tent. The bathroom is private and is a few steps from the tent, but it was so nice, clean & had plenty of hot water. We arrived a little late but were still able to order a delicious charcuterie board for dinner & relaxed by the fire near the dining area where wifi is available. Skadar Lake is less than a 10 minute drive away.

Negative: The path was very dark to get down to our tent, however, they provided us with one flashlight, and we used our cellphone lights. We did not have any problems, but be aware that the path getting to the tent includes several steps.
