Positive: BEAUTIFUL OLD HOTEL THAT HAS BEEN TASTEFULLY RENOVATED AND MADE INTO A UNIQUE GUESTHOUSE WITH ALL THE MODERN ROOM COMFORTS UPSTAIRS, MIXED WITH THE OLD WORLD CHARM DOWNSTAIRS, IE: DINING, LOUNGING WITH A BEER OR A GLASS OF RED IN THE LEATHER CHESTERFIELDS IN FRONT OF A RAGING LOG FIRE. UPSTAIRS ALSO HAS A LARGE COVERED VERANDA OVERLOOKING THE MAIN STREET WHERE YOU CAN SIT AN RELAX, READ A BOOK, ETC. THERES ALSO A BEER GARDEN OUTSIDE. VERY FRIENDLY OWNERS WHO ARE HANDS ON AND MAKE YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME. NEIL WAS GREAT AND HAPPY TO CHAT ABOUT THE LOVELY VIOLET TOWN, THEIR RENOVATION JOURNEY AND OF COURSE HIS LOVE OF MUSIC.

Negative: The smoke alarm went off twice at 1:38am and again around 2am which made for a disruptive night.

Summary: Beautiful, clean & very comfortable accommodation. Very comfy bed, good amenities in room and lovely shower.

Positive: We slept well in an excellent bed, and enjoyed the beautifully renovated rooms and building. The breakfast choices were appreciated and it was nicely cooked. Friendly hosts and a nice town too. Will stay longer next time.

Positive: A beautifully restored property, Leonie and her husband have made it so welcoming and comfortable. Every possible comfort has been considered down to the electric make-up mirror, coasters for glasses and cups and the best possible bedding

Negative: There was some traffic noise in the front room, however closed windows and air-conditioning, fix that small problem
