Positive: The Homestay is located in the middle of nature. It’s so calm and relaxing (especially when you are just coming from Ho Chi Minh City). Mr Thai and his wife were so kind. They gave us a lot of useful tips for things to visit in the area. In the evening you can request dinner which is a MUST DO. The food is super delicious. You can use their bikes for free which is lovely because it’s worth visiting the surrounding area by bike. You can also rent a motor bike from Mr Thai. He also arranged a lovely boat tour for us. The guide was very good: gave us a lot of information and let us take our time.

Negative: A mosquito net in the room would have been useful since there are a lot of mosquitoes (minor remark).

Positive: Rural untouristy location, freshly cooked, simple, plentiful tasty mild vegetarian food, was available perfect as we were recovering from food poisoning, free bikes meant we could explore local tracks, well off the beaten path and see local life and wildlife. Simple clean rooms, with locally made furniture. Excellent host with lots of knowledge if asked. Helpfull prior to arrival and on leaving.

Negative: Like many places in Vietnam the surrounding area is quite dirty, and arriving feels a bit disappointing, but the homestay itself is an oasis around a shared coutyard and our rooms had a sweet balcony overlooking a small tidal tributary.the host does his best to keep the road clean but it's an uphill struggle. The local church rings it's bell 60X three times a day initially accompanied by loud music, which got much quieter I think the host went and had a gentle word with the priest.

Positive: The hosts were extremely welcoming and did all they could to help and make it a pleasant stay. Food was very nice and the location is in the quiet countryside (apart from church bells and barking dogs)

Negative: At 5am the neighbouring church bells starts ringing and the continues to play songs for a long time (and this wake up the dogs who starts barking) according to other guests this happens every night. Rooms are very basic.

Positive: The place was amazing cosy and clean. Furthermore the breakfast was great and you could lend bicycles for free. The owner was extremely nice and would help us with booking a bus to Saigon and finding beautiful bicycle routes for us. Would definitely recommend!!!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay surrounded by coconut trees at this homestay. We truly appreciated the generosity, the constant smiles, and the warm welcome we received from the host and his family. The host proposed a tour to visit Ben Tre, which was very well organized and a great experience. The little extra that really made our stay special was his kindness: he personally drove us to the bus station in his car and even prepared delicious banh mi for us while taking his children to school. We were deeply touched by the generosity and hospitality, and we would gladly come back again.

Positive: I really loved the place! In the countryside, no noise from the city. You can take the bicycle for free when you want. They can cook dinner (170k for menus, 65k for fried noodle or rice) and the breakfast included is local (Phô, banh Mi,...) and really good. They can book for you bus to come and a boat tour in the Mekong (good price for 4h out). Thank you!

Positive: Wow - what a lovely place. If you want a beautiful garden setting, some tranquility away from the city and a lovely warm welcome then come to Coco Lodge. Our first few nights in Vietnam after and absence of 20 years and it felt marvellous. You’re away from noise and pollution, out in the countryside but near to Ben Tre. Mr Thai and his family are wonderful and cook a fabulous dinner too! Use their free bike and amble along quiet lane and see some of Vietnam unspoilt by tourism. Highly recommended
