Summary: Wonderful property in a great location. We loved it.

Summary: We enjoyed our week here thoroughly, as there was lots of room for the four people staying here. The apartment is on a busy street, but traffic noise is muted to the point of being easily ignored. The kitchen is well equipped, and we easily prepared a dinner for eight one evening - there are lots of assorted kitchen implements, and enough dishes and cutlery to have served three or four courses without washing plates. Our only negative comment is that the living room furniture is very old, and rather uncomfortable. It seems a shame in an otherwise excellent set up. The location was ideal for us, being steps to both the trams and the underground system. One can get anywhere within the downtown area in a maximum of fifteen minutes by using them. We loved the first-rate market just across the Green Bridge, and a nice afternoon's sightseeing can be had by taking the number 2 tram (pick up at the underground station right near the market) as far as the parliament buildings, and then walking back. The agent was most helpful and friendly, both before and during our stay. We would certainly consider staying here a second time if we find ourselves in Budapest again.

Summary: We spent 2 weeks in Budapest staying in this apartment. I can't say enough good things about this rental! The view from the balcony is stunning; I must have taken dozens of photos from there over the course of our stay. The apartment is spacious with room for entertaining guests for dinner or simply for drinks and conversation. We spent many quiet evenings philosophizing with family over drinks of palinka in the comfort of the sitting room. It's directly across the street from the Gellert Hotel and Spa so plan for a spa day there while you're visiting, it's worth it. Morning espresso at the hotel cafe is a must and always excellent. Access to the electric trams and metro are within a half block from the apartment and you can reach any location within the city with ease for sightseeing or shopping. If you'd rather walk, there are lots of things to see and do within a short walk. For example, the "vasarcsarnok" (central market) is just on the other side of the bridge. Closer to home, there's a small grocery store on the ground floor for just about anything you need during your stay and a wonderful bakery on the other side of the street, just a half block away. Plan on fresh bread every day! The owner and assistant manager of the apartment are very nice and very helpful. They made us feel very welcome. We will be back.
