Summary: When you want to enjoy nature, rest, a lovely pool with great views and a well equipped holiday house, we recommend this one! Two challenges: one challenge is to find the way to the house. Better follow the route description provided by the host and safe important road exits in google maps or your gps. The other challenge: there are two driveways to the house, one solely for 4x4 (!!!), the other one is less rough but absolute not easy to drive without 4x4.

Summary: This is a nice house, with a fantastic warm pool facing full south in a lovely garden setting. The main bedroom is delightfully decorated with a comfortable bed and good storage. As there were only two of us we did not use the second bedroom, which has twin beds and is nicely furnished but with a low door, so best for children. One bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom, the other is down stairs (which might be difficult for children to navigate the steep spiral staircase at night). Both had showers (no bath) but with excellent water pressure.The kitchen is well equipped with the best oven I have found in France. There is also a good hob and quality washing machine and dishwasher. There is a huge fridge and separate freezer, and even another fridge outside for drinks! The sitting/dining room is open plan to the kitchen and great for the cook to feel part of things. There is a large dining table on the sunny patio outside, and there is a charcoal and gas BBQ. The view is lovely of the Aveyron valley. The local town is 2.5Km away with a good little supermarket, a bakery and Pizza and French restaurants. It has a little food market on a Friday. The only downside is the very rough road to access the house, which probably needs a 4X4 in the wet and is the only reason I have not given it 5 stars. Fortunately we had dry weather.

Summary: We had a lovely 2 week break here. Very comfortable and quiet located. Clode the home carer is a warmly typ, very friendly and concerned for visitors wellbeing. Lots of lovely medieval towns to visit too as well as local markets for gourmet food. The house is highly recommended and we will come back against.

Summary: Een heel gezellig huis. Uitzicht uit de duizend. Zeer warme ontvangst gehad van Claude, de onderhoudsman van het huis en altijd in de weer is al wij hem nodig hadden. Installatie van het zwembad functioneerde niet optimaal. Het water werd steeds groen mids de nodige aandacht en bahandeling van Claude. Het huis is niet toegankelijk vie de GPS coördinaten die opgegeven worden. Deze weg is levensgevaarlijk voor voertuigen. Het huis is enkel bereikbaar via het dorp Montricoux richting St Antonin Noble Val. Een hele mooie streek om te ontdekken met vele activiteiten. Kajakken op les Georges de l'Aveyron en het kasteel van Bruniquel is zeker een aanraden. Vertoeven aan de rivier l'Aveyron, is eveneens prachtig.

Summary: This is a lovely residence in a wonderful part of France. It is well equipped and maintained. There is are all the comforts of home to make your holiday totally relaxing from dishwasher, washing machine, satellite TV wonderful showers etc. The quality of the furnishings is excellent. The pool is a delight. The road in is a little rough. You won't need a 4x4 to get here but if you turn up in a sports car you won't make it. We have rented all over the world and this must be one of the best properties we have experienced.

Summary: The house is modern and comfortable with all facilities. The pool area was also lovely with fantastic views. There are lots of beautiful, historic towns nearby to visit. The house is very private and secluded amongst the trees on the hillside. The only draw back with this was the amount of wasps that liked to cool down by the pool !
