Positive: This has to be hands down the best place for view and privacy on San Andres. It is on the 5th floor for those from USA (4th for Europe). Yes, 77 steps but we read that in the reviews. Good A/C. Direct on ocean, bus stop below. Roof terrace. Few issues but the view, location, convenience to bus, groceries, restaurants, beach etc made up for it. Yes lots of boats but it was like streaming a maritime chanell on cable :) including canoe races, what looked like a sailboat class etc. We'll be back in two years if we think we can still get up those steps...

Negative: Nothing that would stop us from coming again but could be better: First thing was the entry door downstairs. We were ready to call for help when a local man at the ice cream place told us how to get in. We later helped another couple do the same. Once you put in the code and it starts to buzz you have to firmly push the door open. First step is a bit high for us vertically challenged people. A guest book telling you how things work, where they are etc. would be very helpful. I had to look up the washer online to figure out how to run it. THE SHOWER!! Yes, I read the reviews, all over San Andres not just for this building. No hot water when we arrived but someone was sent to fix it. By bedtime there was no hot water again. We watched how they got it going and just repeated that when it stopped. Simple .... turn off the tankless water heater until error code goes off (about 5 seconds) and turn back on to first notch. I'm not a plumber but we were there for 2 weeks, had to reset multiple times and never ran out of gas. Running washer and/or dryer seems to use all the power available and it knocks the power off. Easy to restart but you can't leave the apt with anything running if you have any food in the refrigerator as it will lose power too. Not sure if the electronic lock would work coming back. For two weeks we only had one towel each, one face towel requested twice from 2 different people. Both promised to bring and did not. So laundry more often. The clock is dead. Yes, there is a smell in the bathroom. On the top floor it wasn't bad and opening the bathroom window was enough to clear it. Became a bit more noticeable in our second week when more units in the building seemed to be occupied. Also a recurring problem in San Andres. Chairs outside are different and cracked, no table or shade/awning. Too hot to use terrace mid day.

Positive: All was very nice. The sea view it is really as it showed in the pictures. For sure it is a place to repeat

Negative: Perhaps my mistake I did not read carefully there was no elevator and it was in a 4th floor.

Summary: I have been several times in the island and for sure this will be a place to repeat.

Positive: Las Teresitas beach is really nice.

Negative: The smell in the bathroom reported in the reviews in March was still there in December. Greasy kitchen utensils. The floor in one of the rooms had not been washed before our arrival.

Positive: Perfect terasse, perfect view to the ocean and for the mountains, too. Well equipped kitchen and private sunbathing terrasse with shower. Excellent flat!

Negative: The matrasses in the beds were a bit soft for us, but it highly depends on personal demands, of course.
