Positive: A small but cozy room with a private bathroom. A very good location, especially for watching the Northern Lights. It's about an hour of drive to Reykjavik and less than 20 to Selfoss. Eva, the host is a very friendly and open person; whenever I needed anything, I could always count on her, she also gives us a good advices about places to visit.

Negative: The room was great but would be even better with a microwave

Summary: Overall, my daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Eve's Place. It's a cozy place in a great location.

Positive: Private bathroom and free wifi. Semi private entrance with shared entry was adequate for privacy. Nice location in small town abutting the beach for beautiful sunsets on the horizon. Small grocery / gas store a couple blocks away. Cool beach cats and cemetery. Across the the street from the church and nice looking restaurant but limited hours during fall/winter. Coffee and tea provided with tea pot in room and a refrigerator. Had to drive a couple minutes out of town away from lights to see the Aurora which was awesome but did see them a little bit directly from the bed which was great.

Negative: This is a families house so some normal noise of children and people coming and going but perfectly quiet during sleeping hours 9pm-8am. Bed was a little small to match the room but adequate and comfortable for 2 people. No cooking or microwave.

Summary: Nice stay in a family home with and would stay again if I return - Saw the northern lights.
