Positive: A splendid retreat. The setting among the peaks is magnificent, and the complimentary Mercedes transfer a most civilised welcome. Service is thoughtful without intrusion, and the breakfast is indeed the finest in Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended for its quiet elegance.

Positive: Location in the middle of nature, service is excellent, manager Elvis is very helpful and willing to do anything to keep us happy and comfortable during our stay.

Negative: Nothing, bed matters was slightly on the firm side of how i like it.

Positive: The grounds of Home Away from Home are huge and immaculate. The infinity pool looked awesome and I wish I had time to swim in it. We rarely saw other guests and management made us feel like they were all attending to any of our needs. I look forward to seeing what management adds to the complex to further increase the experience.

Positive: A quiet gem. Superb location amidst the peaks, with impeccable service. The airport transfer is a most welcome touch. Breakfast is truly excellent - the best we had locally. Thoroughly recommended for a refined stay.

Positive: Location was good and the setting over the rice field was lovely. If it hadn’t been for Destiny, the GM, I dont think we’d have been very happy. He really tried to make us feel welcome

Negative: Overall we were a little disappointed: 1) No tea or coffee in the room 2) SHower leaked onto the outside bathroom floor 3) No heating in the bathroom. We were told to run the hot water for 10 mins to warm the floor up 4) No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels/bathrobes 5) No fridge 6) Our package included dinner but the menu was the same each day. No variety! In fact we had lunch there as well one day and it was again the same menu 7) A Spa was advertised when e booked it BUT it’s not open !!!! That was disappointing 8) We asked for coffee and twice they delivered cold coffee in cups !?

Positive: Seamless experience with the staff and service. Elvis, Destiny and Xiao Wang was very accommodating. Rooms are spacious, beautiful and very clean. Peaceful area to stay and relax. If I had more time, I wish I could stay longer. Staff also helped us organise Furong Town, ZJJ National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountains tickets and itinerary. Buffet breakfast and dinner was very tasty! The chef and waitress was also friendly. It's one of the best experiences I've had overseas. If we go back to ZJJ, we will definitely stay here again.
