Positive: Very clean and cozy room. Even the shared bathroom was super clean. Everything is provided, from towels and sheets, all the way to body cream and toothpaste.

Negative: The room was on the smaller side, if you have a big luggage this might take in most of the free space in the room. However, there is a big wardrobe to store all your stuff.

Positive: I really liked the surroundings. The house is situated in a a series of semi-detached houses build along a U-shaped street which surrounds an old church (remodelled for residential purposes). This small complex of buildings is in turn located in a small park and very close to a canal. I imagine, it must be even more relaxing and picturesque in the sunnier months (I have visited beginning December). Also, I agree with alll the other positive impressions other guests had: the host is super friendly and approachable, the room was impeccably clean and the bed/mattress was very comfortable.

Negative: I would like to be able to open the window myself (the windows had built-in 'locks') and so, I imagine, one would have to ask the host to open them.

Summary: A comfortable place to wind down after a busy day in the city

Positive: Elaine has a beautiful home and a welcoming spirit. The room was exactly as described and the bed was very comfortable. Although the room is small, there is plenty of closet space to store lots of travel items. The bathroom is private and beautifully decorated but it is accessed outside the room in the hallway. Elaine was a wonderful host and provided advice on where to go and the best ways to get there. There were snacks and candies provided in the room and all the toiletries you might need. The entire property was super clean and organized. My wife and I stayed for four nights and we felt very safe and comfortable in this part of town. Thank You Elaine for a perfect place to rest.

Negative: The temperature control knob in the shower was almost impossible to turn. It was stuck in the hot position and took some effort to get it to an agreeable temperature but when I notified Elaine, she was aware of it and said it would get fixed.

Summary: Wonderful Place and I would recommend it to family and friends

Positive: Everything was so perfect! Room was nice clean and the shared bathroom as well and the place is well accessible to the city center. Elain is so kind and helpful and Daisy is the nicest dog :-). I also recommend the cafe in the park near the house.

Positive: Altougth the room was very tiny, it was very cozy and equipped with everything we needed. Perfectly clean as well as spacious bathroom where you could got all amenities you needed. Elaine was a very good host who gave us valuable advice and we really felt like at home coz of her care. Reasonable walking distance to DLR and buses as well as Lidl and Tesco and other shopping places and restaurants.
