Positive: Location ok. Access is shared and no clear instruction as whether to go through what was a farm gate ! No house signs at property so o had to knock at neighbours . Not clear how to get in as the farm gate was closed with a heavy chain . This was the neighbours gate and access was shared and we were NOT made aware. Not clear how to get into property

Negative: Accommodation indicated that it would be up to 4 persons. One of the guests had to sleep on a camp bed which had a foam topper on it - this is NOT exceptable if marketing this as another bed option. Positive: We had an absolutely lovely stay, the cottage was very clean, homely and cozy, and a perfect way to ring in the New Year. Gaynor was a great host who answered any questions we had and made our stay easy and enjoyable. The WiFi was fast, beds comfortable, kitchen had the essentials we needed and the local pub is a very short walk away. Thanks :)

Positive: Lovely cottage in a beautiful little village, stunning surroundings. Only 15 miles from Whitby. Cottage layout was great for what we needed. Met the owners who checked in to see if everything was ok. Cottage was comfortable with plenty of information on the area and North Yorkshire. Main living area was beautiful with high ceilings and beams. Bathroom and shower also great

Negative: No cooker but a single hob and microwave available No TV WIFI speed was only a basic 6MB. None of this detracted from our weekend as the cottage was a base really
