Summary: Met by the owner who was delightful. She had kindly organised some groceries for us as requested. The property was scrupulously clean and beautifully designed and appointed. The beds are very comfortable and an abundance of towels is provided. The villa was very warm because of underfloor heating throughout. The gardens are lovely. This is a very private location with fantastic views. A car is essential.

Summary: we spent a really good time in villa Ermita, the location is very nice in Tijarafe in a lovely neighbourhood if you want to spend some time in a genuine location. The vast villa is really nice, with a modern design, a perfect garden, very clean and fully equipped. The landlords have thinked hard about what vacancioners could need and we were astonished by their sense of detail. We were welcomed by Anna, who kindly gave us usefull advices and made the visit of the villa. We had amazing holiday here and definitely advice villa Ermita for people seeking comfort anr authenticity.

Summary: We did not see the beauty of our destination on arrival, as we were late due to a delayed flight. It was already dark (and quite foggy) but Anna was waiting for us, directing us to the property. She had very kindly shopped in advance for us as we arrived on a Sunday. This villa is exceptional, from the underfloor heating to the many opening glass doors which frame the view. Our holiday was mainly a stargazing trip (telescope hire is available but book well in advance to secure your choice of aperture, and take special care with a map and directions to collect it!). The roads are challenging (nervous drivers beware - don't look down, and be aware that as the island is volcanic rockfalls are fairly frequent) but the views are amazing. Special thanks must go to the Ayuntamiento staff in Tijarafe - in spite of none of us speaking the same language the lovely man in the office printed out a map and drew directions for us. Another special mention for Bar Garome - when you turn the corner past it to get to the villa it looks a bit uninviting, but a walk up to it in the evening is worth it. They serve the locally produced wine, which is beautiful. At the time of our visit, this is also one of the cleanest bars we have ever entered. All in all, although La Palma is not a typical holiday destination, and shouldn't be judged as such, we found the local people to be helpful and obliging, the scenery fantastic - including the black sand at Tazacorte.

Summary: Everything was perfect. The villa is brand new, very well equipped to the highest standards. You will have everything waiting for you, including coffee for the automatic pressure coffee maker! The villa has marvellous views to the La Palma landscape, remote Ocean and La Gomera Island. You will need a car, but it is the case for the most of locations at La Palma. In return you will have unspoiled tranquillity, rainbows watching and even a rabbit visiting terrace in the morning. Anna was extremely helpful with recommendations of local restaurants (all very good!) and even companies renting star watching equipment. Will definitely come back if at La Palma again!
