Summary: We had a really nice stay in Danieles apartment. It is in the middle of Porticello and you csn reach everything you need. The communication with Daniele was really easy and overall we were really happy with the apsrtment.

Summary: It was like we got a little bit of Italies great history. Our host told us that it was a house were fishermen had lived. The terrass on the roof was wonderful. We spend ours there.

Summary: Firstly the photograph advertising the flat is of a different property in a different village further down the coast. Santa Falvia and most of Northern Sicily is filthy with litter and dog muck everywhere The flat was not very clean and towels, bedding of poor quality Stairs up to flat very steep and difficult to negotiate. Not for elderly or people with any health issues Parking was a problem and twice we were asked for money to ensure the hire car was not damaged. The roads are tiny and a one way system is difficult to negotiate Driving in Northern Sicily was a nightmare not to be undertaken by anyone of a nervous disposition Went to Southern Sicily several years ago and loved it. The North is nowhere near as good. The owner Daniele met us and was very pleasant and helpful and we have already passed on our concerns to him directly.

Summary: We stayed two weeks in Porticello and liked it a lot. The apartment was affordable, cosy and comfortable. We trained our calf muscles with the stairs. We didn't see al lot of tourists, and we were on the beaches between the locals. It takes a 5 minute walk to get to a charming beach, where you can see a lot of fish when snorkling. The apartment is within easy reach by public transportation from Palermo. The owners Daniele and Annalisa are friendly and helpfull.

Summary: The host: Annalisa is a very nice and helpful host. She met us from the train station, took us to the place on her car, showed us everything what we needed and was always ready to answer our further questions. She speaks 2 other languages besides Italian--English and French. The house: The house is a typical Sicilian house--a dream! The moment you walk in you immediately feel at home: the entrance is warm and welcoming, with warm colors, the bathroom is cosy, the living room is calming, the balcony provides a fantastic view on the very particular and distinguishable Sicilian village with streets going up and down. And as a VERY NICE BONUS there is a terrace on top of the house and is entirely YOURS! It's spacious and cozy and from one side you can take a look at the sea and drom the other on the mountain. Definitely coming back there one day!

Summary: We spent a nice time in the flat though it got really cold outside (even snow). The conditioning system worked and there was everything we needed. The village is a genuine fishing village. It is close to Palermo, so you can easily visit the city. But it is not too close, so you can also relax and enjoy the silence what was very important for us, to recover from the city stress (Berlin). It is worth to go on the hill next to the village to visit the Phoenician remains and have a great view to Palermo, Termini and Cefalú. We thank Daniele for the kind welcome an recommend the apartment warmly.

Summary: Since we stayed during a low season it was not crowded. Actually it is a nice place and we felt like living not in a touristic apartment, but like in a cozy home. A terrace on a roof got a wonderful view to surroundings. The owner Daniele was really very friendly and showed us everything that was needed. In brief this is a place that probably we will come back one day.
