There’s a big sun terrace/patio and private pool and a garden for your own use and convenience. Plenty of garden furniture is provided. Beach towels you'll find in the pavilon together with beach parasols, and beach toys. Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Estrella. We were two families with 4 children ranging from 1-5 years old and we stayed for a month. In my opinion, the house is better than it shows in the pictures. Lot of really unique pieces of art (most of which we had to put out of reach of little hands). It is really well equipped. It literally had everything we needed- lots of living space, a fully equipped kitchen and Felicia provided high chair and 2 cots. We were worried about the property not having air con but actually it wasn't really a problem. It got hot in the attic but we didn't really sleep up there. There are a couple of windows/sky lights that dont have black out blinds. If you have a Gro blind, take it and it should work fine. The pool was perfect for our kids. The fact that its heated, is a game changer. It meant that they could spend the morning/ afternoon playing in there. Felicia is a wonderful host. Communication was excellent before and throughout our stay. Anytime we a problem we contacted her or Andre. Andre and his family help with the maintainence of the property and they couldn't be more lovely or helpful. His son even took my parents back to the airport, and charge less than a taxi. It's about a 20-25 minute walk into the town/ beach and there's a really lovely coffee shop/ bakery about 15 minutes, with good coffee, nice treats and really reasonable prices. Sao Martinho is a really lovely town. If we were to return, we would love to stay with Felicia.

Summary: Felicia's propoerty is absolutely perfect! Casa Estrella is a beautiful home, comfortable, spacious, well laid out and equiped. It is her home and therefore stocked with everything you may need for a home away from home. The pool is heated and stayed at a constant 28 degrees, crystal clear and surounded by a high-walled courtyard, so very private. Bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious with plenty of storage space. Bathrooms are clean and neat and each window and door has an insect screen to keep the flies and mosquitoes away. The kitchen is well equiped and we were welcomed with two delicious bottles of Portuguese white wine. There is a pool room with laundry facilities and another fridge freezer, plus cushions chairs, pool towels, beach umbrella etc. TVs in most rooms, with satelite channels, mostly in German, and a lovely music speaker in the open plan diner kitchen with a pre-programmed radio channel playing perfect music. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, with a delicious cafe and bakery (o Cafe de Adelia) just 900 meters up the road for great coffee, rolls and pasties de nata! The main beach is just under 2km walk down the hill, with plenty to do there - we enjoyed kayak and sup board. Praia de Gralha is also just over 1km walk away, up over the hill, via a short track... not the best beach for swimming, but beautiful and peaceful - perfect for sundowners. We hired a car and spet the most amazing days visiting Nazare, Obidos, Coin Caves and Leiria... all very well worth the visit. This area feels very much like a Portuguese holiday, with plenty of locals enjoying the coastline. People are extremely helpful and friendly. Falicia is a perfect host, and though she was not there, she had someone there to greet us and hand over keys and was excellent in communications. Can't recommend this highly enough!

Summary: We were two families – 4 adults and 4 kids (2 smaller children and 2 teenagers) and had wonderful 10 day stay in this lovely villa! Everything you can think of was available. The villa is spacious and clean – beautifully decorated and with a lovely outside area and pool. The facilities were excellent with everything you would have at home; and each room was individually and lovely decorated. The villa is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the main supermarket. It took us approx. 15 minutes to walk to the beautiful and unique beach front (even safe for small children!) with shops, bars and restaurants. We felt that Sao Martinho and the whole Silver Coast area with its golden sandy beaches was still very unspoiled and offered great value for money. The close by Foz do Arelho was ideal for water sports and surfing and my husband explored the multiple golf resorts nearby e.g. Praia De’l Rey and Bom Sucesso. The area has rich heritage and has many fascinating places nearby to visit: e.g. nearby Nazare offer beach, vibrant night-life and aqua park; The medieval town and castle of Obidos – a must see; World Heritage Monastery at Alcobaca; and of course Lisbon – this beautiful city at Tejo river is only a 45 minute drive. We had all we wished for our vacation – we had time for relaxation as well as for entertainment and sightseeing. We can fully recommend this holiday home!!

Summary: Luxuriöse Unterkunft mit reichhaltigem guten Frühstück sowie äußerst liebenswerten Vermieterin, die gerne mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Auto ist unverzichtbar. Gute Autobahnanbinding für Besichtigungstrips. Geschäfte, Strand und Restaurants mit dem Wagen innerhalb 4-5 Min. zu erreichen. Guten Gewissens würden wir es Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfehlen und kommen selbst mit Sicherheit wieder.

Summary: wunderschön rustikal eingerichtetes haus mit pool, sehr gemütliche und saubere zimmer, bad mit großer dusche, fewo ca. 10 fußminuten vom strand in sao martinho do porto gelegen, aber auch alle anderen sehenswürdigkeiten im landesinnern sind mit dem auto schnell erreichbar, ca. 250 km nach porto und 100 km nach lissabon, fewo in ruhiger lage in siedlung, optimal für jugendgruppen, kleinfamilien und paare, leckeres und reichliches frühstück, frisches obst und brötchen, große auswahl an wurst, käse und konfitüren, aber auch individuelle frühstückswünsche können erfüllt werden - jeder tag war ein genuß, vermieterin sehr sehr freundlich und gibt gerade portugalneulingen gern ausreichend tipps für städte- und stranderlebnistouren, preisverhältnis ist top, einfach perfekter urlaub ... danke an heidi und emma !!! gern wieder ... lg l+m

Summary: Ein kleines Paradies,so würde mann dieses Haus treffend Bezeichnen.Es ist komplett Stivoll eingerichtet,und alle Zimmer verfügen über einen Fernsehr,den mann aber in dieser Umgebung wahrhaftig nicht braucht. Mann wohnt in einer sehr gehobenen umgebung und dennoch ist mann schnell im kleinen Örtchen von Sao Martinho.Dieser strand empfiehlt sich besonders für Kinder da er sehr Geschützt ist und keine hohen Wellen wirft. Aber nur ein Paar KM weiter kommen auch "wellen liebhaber" in der "praia do Aurelho(??) ) voll auf seine Kosten. Ganz egal wie mann seinen Urlaub verbringen Möchte,hier haben sie Zahlreiche möglichkeiten, etliche cafes laden zum verweilen ein,und das der berühmte Ort Nazare ist ebenfalls scnell zu erreichen.Der einzige Nachteilist,das der Urlaub auch leider mal zu Ende geht!!!

Summary: Wir hatten eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung von Lissabon nach Sao Martinho, mit dem dort gemieteten Auto. Die Vermieterin vermittelte Zugang zu dort lebenden Deutschen, u.a. Ärztin. Die Beschfreibung von Haus und Umgebung waren sehr genau, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich, alle sonstigen Angaben über Strand, Ausflugsziele, Kunststätten ect. waren zutreffend, das Haus befindet sich in einem modernen, selbstverständlich sehr sauberen Zustand. Die Vermieterin ist eine offene fröhliche Person, die immer gute Tipps geben kann und für alle Fragen offen ist und gern mit uns auch mal Skat gespielt hat. Auch mit Freunden waren wir schon dort, die ebenso begeistert waren. Wir würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen.
