Positive: The B&B is located in the heart of Atzara, a truly charming village. Everything was just as it should be—neat and clean. We parked our car about 50 meters down the street, almost right in front of the police station, so we felt "very safe"! Thank you, Jasmin; the communication with you was exceptional. Thank you for booking our dinner—the food, wine, and service felt so welcoming and authentic. And it was delicious.

Positive: The accommodation is easy to find, easy parking down the street, the hosts of very responsive, and supportive. The room itself is decorated with Sardinian tapestry made in the region and is beautiful. The design of the room accommodates all of a travellers needs; hooks for jackets, hooks for towels, area for opening luggage, water in the fridge, coffee and tea, a seating area. Everything was clean and very very comfortable. The property is surrounded by a beautiful succulent garden and seating areas outside. Located very close to everything in the centre of town, it is possible to walk to the shops, museum and winery. Definetly one of the most delightful stays we have ever had. Thanks Jasmin and the staff at Holiday Madrolisai!!!! 🥰. One note, if you would like the opportunity to visit the La Dolce Vigna, make the effort to book ahead of your visit. Also, do not miss the MAMA, La Robbia and a meal at Al Vecchio Mulino.

Positive: This is a wonderful secret getaway from the more expensive locations on Sardenia. The value for money here is fantastic. Although this is a B&B, it felt more like getting a whole apartment. The staff were so welcoming, even when we arrived late in the evening. The big bonus is the tiny medieval village we explored the next day. Mandrolisai DOC is a simple setup but has all or more of the amenities you need for a short stay. The fabrics used for the bedding and drapes gives you a sense of the traditional trades that make up the historical context of this rural town.
