The Casa Eliseo, located on the edge of Alajeró, is a tastefully restored, over 100 year old farmhouse at 800 m altitude - in the very south of the island. The property is located in the middle of terraced fields. From its, across the front going natural stone terrace, one has a sensational view over the south coast and the deep blue sea up to the endless wide horizon.
A beautiful place with sun loungers and a seating area - partially shaded by a large deciduous tree - invites you to relax.
On the second patio in the courtyard - here is an almond tree - it is great barbecue and food, for which this patio is also equipped with table and chairs and of course a large barbecue. In addition, one of the two showers of the house is also in this courtyard.

Summary: We were a group of four who rented the house for five nights in January and we loved it. Good base for several beautiful walks, a some straight from the front door. The house is comfortable and very well equipped, including the kitchen; although no oven (bbq outside for warmer months). We needed to use the heating in the evening in January as the house is at about 800m. One bedroom had no heating and felt quite cold at night (but there were plenty of blankets). There’s a delightful south facing terrace with good views and easy parking. Useful Spar shop within 10 minutes walk but the village bar was closed, maybe for winter. It’s an easy 15 minute drive down to the sea and a few restaurants/bars in Playa de Santiago. Gerlinde was easy to communicate with and very helpful during the booking process.
