Summary: Spacious and well-kept, I liked how the kids had their own space upstairs, The location is quiet, great for relaxing, The only downside was the 5 euro charge for heating, but other than that, everything was fine

Summary: Een mooi historische huis met alle gemakken en ruimte tuin. De eigenaar is vriendelijke en zeer behulpzaam. Keerzijde van het huis is door het beperkte aantal ramen is donker binnen om dingen te doen, binnen heb je altijd verlichting nodig die voldoende is.

Summary: Het is een heerlijk huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is niet heel erg groot, de derde slaapkamer is een ruimte die grenst aan de trap (vide), en daardoor snel last van licht van beneden. De bedden zijn uitstekend. Geen nederlandse televisie maar dat hebben we ook niet gemist. De keuken is wat krap, weinig aanrecht, maar wel met veel servies, pannen, bestek etc. Wat wel tegenviel was dat heel veel restaurants (en winkels) in de omgeving dicht waren of niet meer bestonden, of alleen open waren voor lunch. Wellicht vanwege franse Corona maatregelen?

Summary: Een heerlijk weekje frankrijk achter de rug! Ondanks dat het weer niet helemaal mee zat hebben we een heerlijk weekje gehad in chapelle-aux bois. Het huis was fantastisch helaas had de tv geen Nederlandse zenders en kan de badkamer wel een kleine update gebruiken. Maar voor de rest was het geweldig. Een gezellige keuken een meer dan ruime woonkamer met een heerlijke houtkachel 2 goede stoelen en lekkere hangbank, boven twee hele ruime kamers met grote kasten waar je de kleding goed in kan opbergen. In een kast stond zelfs een strijkplank met strijkbout. Dan was er nog een openruimte met nog een bed voor een persoon. Ook stond er nog een kinderbedje en een kinderstoel voor de kleine mens onder ons. Buiten een mooie ruime privé tuin die in zijn geheel omheind was door een hek en bomen. Waar de hele dag door zingende vogels om je heen waren en af en toe kwam er een eekhoorntje even langs om aan een dennenappel te komen knagen. En voor de auto was er een carpoort waar ook nog de nodige goede tuinstoelen en tafels stonden opgeslagen. De omgeving is prachtig er zijn 5 verschillende routes vanuit het huis om te gaan wandelen, en als uitvalsbasis om dag tripjes te maken zit je er ook prima! En als laatste de eigenaar van het huis, hij was ontzettend behulpzaam en deed stinken zijn best om zich verstaanbaar te maken in het engels voor ons. Kortom echt een aanrader dit huis!
