A harmonious blend of authenticity and modernity, this holiday home in the heart of the Ardennes in Waimes has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate 14 people (10 adults and 4 children) the place is ideal for family and groups. Originally, the house was an Ardennes farm that has been completely renovated with environmentally-friendly materials. The large garden will be loved by children where they can play different games, the garden also has garden furniture where the family can enjoy meals. In winter, it's lovely to spend time indoors. The house is very well heated thanks especially to its two large cast-iron stoves on the ground floor. Walks or bicycle rides will be great for exploring the Hautes Fagnes Nature Park. In winter, snow walks and especially cross-country skiing thanks to plenty of ski track less than 5 km from the house is advised. Not to mention Malmedy, the Reinhardstein castle, Bütgenbach lake and the car circuit at Spa-Francorchamps.

Summary: De eigenaar was gemakkelijk te contacteren en zeer accuraat in zijn communicatie, het huis was erg mooi en ruim bemeten.. de kachel bransde al lekker toen we arriveerden. Ook gaf hij tips voor de omgeving.

Summary: Zeer goed gelegen vakantieverblijf in ene prachtige omgeving. Wij hebben de maximale capaciteit benut, en dan is het wat aan de krappe kant. Verdiepingen mooi vernieuwd, keuken wat te klein.

Summary: We hebben met 8 volwassenen, 5 kinderen en 3 baby's een fijne week gehad in Sourbrodt. De heerlijke grote tuin was een genoegen voor iedereen. De omgeving heerlijk rustig. Vanuit het huis loop je zo de Hoge Venen in. De slaapkamers allemaal nieuw met eigen toilet en douche of badkamer. Beneden ook genoeg ruimte. De keuken wat aan de kleine kant met weinig opbergruimte voor de meegebrachte spullen. Maar daar red je je wel mee voor een week. Al met al een goed verblijf gehad. Zeker de moeite waard.

Qua sfeer mis ik de samenhang van alle ruimtes. De slaapverdiepingen zijn vernieuwd en hedendaags. De benedenverdieping is wat donker, laag, ouder.

Summary: Ein sehr schönes sauberes Haus für Gruppen oder mehrere Familien. Genug Platz zum Bewegen und Spielen , große Zimmer, saubere Bäder. Gemütliche große Sitzecke. Draußen viel Platz zum Spielen. Dartscheibe leider nur defekte Pfeile.

Summary: Heerlijk rustig gelegen vlakbij Mont Rigi Rigi en Baraque. Schitterend wandelen op de Hoge Veenen en in de buurt van de gezellige stad Malmedy. Huis heeft hele mooie slaapkamers en badkamers (prima afgewerkt), een grote zitkamer met tv en een grote eetkamer met een lange tafel en poolbiljart (leuk voor de pubers). Enige minpunt(je) is de krappe kookplaat die te klein is om meerpansgerechten voor 10+ personen te maken.

Summary: Het huis is met smaak verbouwd, heel gezellig. De slaapkamers en badkamers zijn super. Altijd voldoende warm water in de douches. Goede matrassen. Ruim Voldoende keukengerei aanwezig. Een bijkomende ijskast zou een pluspunt zijn.
