Positive: The private location is absolutely phenomenal. The lake was beautiful and clean. The massive porch and private dock were major wins. The hot tub was wonderful and a nice size.

Negative: Our only complaints would be the tiny sleeping space and bathroom/shower. But the location and everything else more than made up for it, and the bed was comfortable enough. Also, the local cable is terrible (haha), so if you want tv entertainment would recommend bringing a laptop.

Positive: Staff only there if and or when you need them. In my situation I was trying to have some serious alone time away from society to turn the brain off. The cabin was more then expected. Any rules of cabin are for the better of the environment and maintaining a clean cabin for decades to come. So we all appreciated all the rules and understood why they existed. Made sense as this cabin is a small piece of paradise. Fishing wise you won't be catching any trophys but there is small mouth bass, some large, bluegill and sunfish. This is all we caught. Released everyone we caught. There's a few smaller stores we visited and we cooked on the grill predominantly while there. Luckily only 1 half day of rain while there. We all highly recommend and personally wouldn't mind going there one more time if possible one day. Also all the normal Hocking Hills things to see like the Rock House, Old Mans Cave and Upper Falls etc. are just up north a bit and readily accessible with a short drive down the country roads. I have no complaints other then wish we were still there.

Negative: Only if fishing would have been better. In the end though everything else combined made everything really nice regardless. Without crazy fishing, atleast you will have more time to spend talking to family or friends around the campfire and actually catching up on things truly relaxing.
