Summary: The house is extraordinary and the location was just as beautiful. The Lightwood House while decorated impeccably, has a very home-like feeling to it. It is very private, and for those of us who prefer the rural lifestyle, it is perfect. We had a fabulous time. The house is clean, the appliances worked, check-in was easy and everything else is exactly as advertised. The hosts were very responsive to questions, and were willing to help out in every possible way. Staying at theThe Lightwood House was a memorable experience!

Summary: We had an amazing time at this property! Cliff is very responsive and a great host. The kids loved being able to “stay in the past” but have modern day amenities (I.e. A/C, and running water!). Staying here created an immersive experience added on when not in Colonial Williamsburg. We would definitely return.
