Summary: From start to finish, this place was wonderful. Having games available made the time onsite fun, and there was plenty for our 13 year old son to enjoy. The pool was delightfully cool on a hot late June afternoon, and very enjoyable for a night swim. The gardens are almost dreamlike…I can almost still smell the roses! Our room had everything we needed and was just as described. And Rafael was most pleasant, attentive, and available. Wine and olive oil and waters and tiramisu were available onsite for purchase. And I highly recommend the tiramisu! We enjoyed it for a decadent breakfast on the dining table beside the pool on our last morning. My son, wife, and I all wish we didn’t have to go!

Summary: My wife, daughter and I stayed for a week in this historic villa. The apartment was very clean and impeccably decorated. The grounds were delightful - the views - the statues - the flowers in the parklike setting were really amazing. Angelica, Rafael and Maria were very friendly and helped us with all details of the villa and getting to know the area. It was an incredible holiday - with so much to do in the town and surrounding area. We highly recommend a stay and we look forward to returning. Neil McKay

Summary: Beautifully presented little apartment (don't bring too much). The villa is about 20 minutes walk from the old centre of Riva, surrounded on 2 sides by beautifully kept gardens (with fountains, statues and topiary even). There are a few lovely spots in the garden for food or drinks. The only noise is from other guests (occasionally passing your door) and from falling water, either from the fountains or cascades next door. No problems with the host, parking, finding food and so on. Kitchen is small but well equipt minus cooker or microwave. There's a little TV with 2 english channels - BBC and Aljazeera news. Always had hot water... so no complaints. Particularly recommend as intimate holiday. Buy a plug-in mozzy repellant.
