Summary: Very beautiful property and grounds

Summary: My siblings all get together for Thanksgiving every year at my brother’s home and for some of us that means traveling back to Shelbyville from various states. We have rented a large house every year and this year we tried Adam’s home on the Flatrock River. A place we are very familiar with having grown up not far away. The home sits at the end of a private road with views of the river all along the back of the property. The house is very large and for 7 of us we did not use most of the downstairs but settled around the kitchen, family room and dining room. The kitchen was well equipped with new cabinets and appliances. We all enjoyed our stay very much and really want to try it in the summer to take advantage of the river and kayaks. The one downside is no access to the internet and two of my sisters work remotely. I’m not sure if the location of the property does not allow for that availability. We would definitely rent again. Adam is a very good host.

Summary: Adam was prompt in responding to my inquiries. While we did not need to contact him during our stay, I felt that if we needed him he would have been just as quick to respond. We stayed in winter, and the place was still beautiful and off the main strip. If the opportunity comes, we will stay here again, which is the highest praise I can think of. The house was built in the 1800s, so it is not a modern home, but that is one of its greatest charms. It does not have TVs or internet (a plus for us). We brought a hot spot with us, but it was nice to spend time with family and not with the gadgets.

Summary: Mill Estate is an incredible property and we tremendously enjoyed our weekend with friends. Adam is highly responsive and attentive. It was just an hour away from Indianapolis and was an easy drive. We certainly are going back there.

Summary: We booked the property for our engagement party, the house looks much more beautiful compared to the pictures. Adam was an amazing host who addressed any issues we had immediately. We will definitely go back and spend another weekend there.
