Positive: Beyond wonderful! Beds comfy, plenty of everything. Kitchen fully equipped. Owner, Court, responded immediately to a question. We were in the area to attend the Little League World Series. Fields were about 15 minutes or so away. Next year we will definitely return to this beautiful, historic farmhouse.

Negative: The property is a subdivided historic 18th century farmhouse, so the water pressure and the bathrooms are so delicate it’s like performing surgery to take a shower or use the bathroom. Also, since you have a shared wall with other parts of the house, even on a weekend evening, you have to be quiet after 10pm. Paying good money per night to have to be pin drop quiet after 10pm is a bit restrictive. Middle aged, decent, mature people can’t even watch a comedy special and laugh too loud on a Friday night after 10pm and I think that’s kind of ridiculous. It’s their choice obviously, but it’s clear to me that they don’t want children or anyone with a belly laugh around. There’s a difference between partying to all hours of the night and trying to watch Saturday Night live for a few chuckles, but here you would have to just say sorry, we can’t make any noise after 10pm, so everyone please go grab your novels and dig in before bed. It almost feels like a curfew to go to bed imposed by the owner and the idea of paying someone to tell you when to go to sleep is counterintuitive. It’s supposed to be fun, but not after 10pm. That’s my main complaint.

Positive: Everything about this house was great. If you are looking for a country farmhouse look and feel, this is the place to stay. It's located in a good area. The place is very clean and kept up well. I highly recommend this place.

Negative: I loved everything. I couldn't ask for anything better. It's in a perfect location.
