Summary: This property has everything you can imagine(except a swimming pool). But no matter, lots of space for large groups to share thoughts and meals. Private spaces for personal conversations or just to think alone. The huge kitchen allows your group to help with meals easily. Close to downtown and groceries. Couldn’t have wished for a better place for our family to get together without a worry or a care.Grateful!

Summary: The house was very clean and inviting. We had a little communication issue about where the keys were supposed to be, so finding the keys to get in was a little tricky at -3 degree temperatures. Other than that, everything was very good and the host was very hospitable.

Summary: What an amazing home! It was cozy and had such a calm feel. Everything was crisp and clean; the beds were so comfortable and we slept so great! The owners thought of everything we would need and were easy to communicate with when we had a question. You can tell family was a priority for Grandma Helen and we are so grateful to have had the chance to stay in her home. Thank you!

Summary: My cousins and I had a family reunion here and had a lovely time. There was enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and the house is a work of art. The little touches and family history make this place memorable and personable. And it's close to downtown if you want to go for a walk and explore. Book this place and you won't regret it.

Summary: Our group of 6 women stayed at Grandma Helen's House while biking in Dallas County IA. We felt so fortunate to have found this wonderful VRBO. The home is beautiful with so many special touches!!! We loved the beautiful wood work in an and built in areas. Spacious with 6 bedrooms, newly remodeled kitchen. Very roomy living areas. Super clean. Beds were super comfortable. The owners were super good to work with. Kept in touch with us. Alerted us about a tornado watch and told us how to get to the basement if we needed to. They left a bouquet of lovely lilacs at our door. I would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!
