Summary: Nice and close to town, home was very historic and so nice. We had 4 adult couples and there was plenty of space. Could use a nice couch in livingroom but overall everything was great! Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Drafty and cold. But nice updates to kitchen and bathrooms. Old house so switches took some getting used to. Pool table and tvs were fun for kids. Dishwasher nice and new cookware great! Couldn’t figure out how to turn on fireplaces.

Summary: The property looks far better than the pictures. It's very spacious. They beds are very comfortable. We struggled with how to turn on lights and some rooms, like the livingroom and bunk bed room, aren't well lit. It was incredibly cold in the house as the heating system is really old.

Summary: We were attending a family wedding out of town. This home was clean and spacious with lots of character. It allowed our family to enjoy the weekend vs sitting in hotel rooms. Host was readily available to answer the couple of questions we had after arriving.

Summary: If you appreciate unique and interesting places to stay, then this is the one for you! While the pictures make it look far more prettier than it actually is, it was an amazing home to stay in. Amenities galore...plenty of everything you need and want in a rental. Walking distance to downtown shopping, dining and entertainment. Charming neighborhood, if you can look past your neighbors. 4 kids, ages 9-14, enjoyed exploring the home, playing its games, watching its theatre size TV, and playing pool & piano. When asked their favorite and least favorite thing (for review purposes), the creaky floors -old home- was the least favorite and the comfy beds (all of them were amazingly comfortable) where among the most favorite. With all that being said, the home needs some work. The outside is horrendous and could easily be maintained by cutting back trees and putting up privacy borders. Light bulbs could be changed and fixtures could be updated in the basement to allow for better lighting which would also give it a not so "creepy" factor. Overall, this home was perfect and a lot of fun. We all agreed we would love to rent this home again. Thank you for sharing it with us.
