Positive: It’s big, it’s beautiful, totally in wood, it’s spacious, it’s sort of isolated but yet walking distance from the onsen and a really good restaurant! The owner is very responsive and has been helping us prepare the trip from the day of the booking months before we arrive, answering our questions about the ferries, car rental, weather, etc. I was there with a friend d and would love to return with the family; my kids and wife would love it 🥰

Negative: It would be even better to understand how the sea onsen works. Turns out the only time it was open when we were there was between midnight and 6am when the tide is low. In fairness we did not have time anyway but others might :-)

Summary: A whole Japanese house just for you. A superb location in an amazing island.

Positive: Beautiful house in a nice, a bit remote area but there a a few good restaurants close by. A car is recommended but can be organized via the owners. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and a yakiniku bbq.

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. Close to A-Coop grocery store with delicious food options. Generous, flexible, and responsive hosts. There may come a time in your planning process where you question whether it’s easier to stick to bigger areas like Anbo or Miyanoura. Resist this thought and stay at Hirauchi Hot Spot. It’s easy to drive to attractions like Yakisugi Land and Shiratani Unsuikyo, but also uniquely positioned to visit Hirauchi Onsen at night. Imagine yourself in a warm, rocky pool under the stars, with the wild ocean crashing before you. It’s just you and a few locals, enjoying the gifts of nature. It’s an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Stay at Hirauchi Hot Spot and don’t miss out.

Positive: A beautiful house and garden. Everything you need to settle in and feel right at home. Easy to communicate with the hosts. A lovely place to stay. Highly rcommend!

Negative: It wasn't really a problem for us, but just know you are right off the road and you may hear some cars go by when in the bedroom. Oh, and the local announcement tower likes to broadcast a chime variation of Edelweiss at 06:00 :)

Positive: Outstanding vacation stay. After booking i had some second thoughts but om so happy i did not listen to them and arrived at this amay place. The location is excellent and most perfect is taht it is located near the open mixed onsen at the sea. This was one if our trip highlights. Host is providing recommendation and tips when to visit ( according to tied) , what to wear and what not to wear 😄 and yiu will find it all in the house fir your use. The house is very well equipped. There was nothing we needed that we could not find. Never been in such a place. Since we came off season, lucky we were able to cook as a lot on the island was closed. The kitchen had it all, in good quality and nice design. It was very cold outside but very warm inside. Excellent hot water at all times. Japanese slipping style was so comfortable. Natural garden out side with wonderful sitting table. I can go on and on as we truly loved this place. Do not think twice! You will thank me. Communication with hist was excellent from the time of booking to the day we left. Always available, provide useful information and tips.

Negative: Nothing! Truly nothing. All was perfect, i could stay there for the winter time☺️
