Positive: We stayed at Hotel Himalayan Regal House from 22nd to 25th July, and the experience is something I will cherish for a long time. The hotel’s location is excellent, the property is very well maintained, and everything is thoughtfully taken care of. The true highlight, however, is the staff. They are some of the warmest, most genuine people we have met in our travels. A special mention to Anshu and Raja, whose humility and helpfulness really stood out. They go above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and happy, and we are nothing but grateful for the way they took care of us. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with hygienic washrooms, reliable round‑the‑clock hot water, and excellent internet connectivity (which is rare in Ladakh!). The included breakfast was more than sufficient, tasty, and well-prepared. We also opted for dinner at the property and, honestly, it turned out to be one of the best meals we had during our 12‑day Ladakh trip. The experience was so good that while planning a trip for our parents (12th–14th September), we didn’t even consider any other stay in Diskit — we wanted them to enjoy the same hospitality. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team for giving us such wonderful memories. Keep up the great work and positivity. Wishing you continued success and growth!

Positive: The bed was huge and super comfy. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were helpful. Nice quiet location away from the main road but close enough to walk to the little town. Great WiFi connection.

Negative: They weren't serving dinner the day I came. Breakfast omelette had bread inside which was a bit odd. Strange folding front gate that's hard to both open and close. A staff member seems to keep an eye to come and help.

Summary: Very cosy hotel clean and well maintained.

Positive: I booked one room for 2 nights but wasn't able to arrive until the second night. I arrived on the second night with friends who also wanted to book a room there. Instead of charging for the second room, they gave it to us for free in lieu of the first nights accommodation (2 rooms for 1 night instead of 1 room for 2 nights). I was very surprised by their generosity as it was my fault that I couldn't arrive the first night. The food was also incredible. Excellent quality and the quantity was insane. It's even more impressive when considering the remotness of the hotel. By far the best accommodation I stayed at during my entire holiday throughout India and Nepal. The customer service couldn't have been better.

Negative: Nothing, they did absolutely everything right. I recommend this place to anyone staying in Nubra Valley.

Positive: the property was easily accessible and the staff, the rooms, the amenities, and the view were spectacular. we would recommend their food over anything found in town...the care, presentation, preparation and attention to detail was commendable.

Negative: we didnt have wifi available, but it was the start of the season and the mobile network was available so it wasnt a big deal.
