Summary: Nice hotel in an ideal location. Staff is friendly and efficient. Check in and out process is very easy. Loved the poolside area and entertainment. Everything was clean and orderly. The rooms themselves could use a little updating. TVs were a bit dated (cable instead of streaming/casting options). Other than that, great place to stay and I'd stay here again.

Summary: Our first night was a bit rough. My wife and I could not sleep because our room was 2 doors down from the elevator shaft. However, front desk moved us and the manager was nice to give us a comp for our inconvenience. We enjoyed the food at the bar near the pool. Tavia, as a server was absolutely fantastic! She was cheerful upbeat.. while my wife enjoyed the sunset. The Modern also offer free activities. Yes, I would recommend this stay because it is close to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Enjoy the Friday fireworks!!
