Positive: - we had a peaceful week's stay (not many kids and it wasn't busy) - the resort and views are gorgeous and serene - island is full of nature and animals (crabs everywhere, turtles, tortoises, lizards, bats and flies galore) - the staff were amazing with us, so helpful and accommodating (i had a beetle in my food on the first night at the buffet so we moved to another restaurant) - Beautiful how the resort and spa are built around the rocks - we stayed in the beach front villa, really good sized rooms and bathrooms Other notes for travellers: - One thing to note is that all kitchens are outdoors except at Portobello so you will get some insects in your food - Portobello restaurant is outstanding and Gran Kaz!!!! - bring your own mosquito spray, the resort once costs £25-30
Negative: - the Hilton on Mahe island where we waited for the jetty is absolutely awful. The lady who wears the blue turban has attitude and on the way back home when we arrived we were going to wait there until 8pm for our flight at 12am but there was a wedding there and no one told us!!! It was so awkward and uncomfortable and ruined the last day of our honeymoon. No communication about it for us to be able to make alternative plans. The taxi pick up to the airport was too early. - the boat times are very early so we ended up waiting around - there's no pharmacy on the island - the rooms were old and outdated (this was one of the downsides of our trip) although the view and bathrooms were beautiful - would be good for rooms to have mosquito nets around the bed so we can sleep peacefully rather than waking up bitten - was difficult to ask for mosquito spray and coils but eventually got them from the staff - the restaurant Aria and La Brizan are the same, they share the same menu so for lunch there's only really one restaurant and you could easily spend £60+ for two lunch meals plus drinks - the jetty and taxis were unnecessarily expensive - underwhelming honeymoon decor but the rest of the trip made up for it - i usually love asian food but wasn't impressed with the restaurant Sakura - we were told AFTER booking that the teppanyaki restaurant is closed until further notice (only because I asked and no reason given. This should be stated somewhere) - we were also told yoga won't be provided until further notice but i spoke to Rebecca who was absolutely amazing and she organised a 121 session. There were yoga classes at the spa at 8am Other things to note: - i found there to be a lot of older vistors at Hilton

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa! The resort itself is stunning, but what made our holiday truly special was the incredible service. A special thanks to Ragu, Boniface, and Vamit – they were extremely warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Their hospitality and professionalism elevated our experience and made us feel at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with top-notch service and a beautiful setting

Positive: Gorgeous location on a beautiful beach on Silhouette Island, the only resort there and purple in there a beautiful tropical paradise and a calm atmosphere.
Negative: Didn’t dislike anything specific about the property, just some things we noticed that could be improved: - overall value for money for the villa itself was good, but the transfer costs for the taxi from the airport to the jetty, and especially for the boat to silhouette Island are quite steep and make the overall price less attractive - we had the all in inclusive package and expected basic activities such as tennis or Padel to be included as well - prices for things like a diving mask or snorkeling gear are exorbitant, both in the dive shop and the cheap masks available for purchase in the room; this is unnecessary and makes you feel held hostage a bit

Positive: We stayed in a Sanctuary Pool Villa - private, green, loads of wildlife, tranquil, lovely pool, nice veranda, plenty of choice for seating, lounging and laying to suit your mood! The beach was 30 seconds away from our front door, I preferred the privacy of this type of villa to being looked at from the beach, but each to their own! The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful with excellent housekeeping, Breakfast team, Aria, 4 Degrees and Gran Kazz Staff- no exceptions. The food was plentiful and we learned much about local cuisine, the staff were great at explaining different dishes to us too! The massive bats, the beautiful birds and insects (blue bumblebee, Chinese paper wasps that looked like fairies- none of which bothered us at all). The beautiful beach is a sight to behold- dreamy! Plentiful things to do but we just took it easy! The pumpkin soup is delicious!! Bring insect prevention (mosquitos) with you and you will be fine.
Negative: The main pool is tired and not grouted, which leaves lots of sharp edges- that’s an easy fix to be honest and I saw the management noting some improvements e.g a bit of a water line around the pool and I never once saw the water tested in the 14 days we were there, which worries me a bit as small kids allowed in both pools. The aria limits its menu after 5, so you are forced to use the restaurants. That’s a bit of a shame if you just want a snack. Could do with smart TVs so guests can use their own Netflix etc for an evening in. Not much on the negative side. Watch out for the sustainability costs - 115 SCR per day each, that’s a nice little surprise on the bill.
