Positive: A warm welcome at Reception. Everything we'd asked for including an extra bed was delivered for us and the breakfast was good. This is a good hotel which just looks rather tired in all it's facilities and is in need of refurbishment and investment. However the price and location are right and it offers value. The breakfast is very good.

Negative: The room is very tired and needs a renovation.

Summary: Does the Job, great value, just in need of renovation.

Positive: the room was extremely large, clean, comfortable and the bathroom was exceptional, the facilities (the gym and the pool) exceeded my expectations for the value of the hotel, the pool was large and warm , and the gym had lots of useful equipment for all types of exercise. all of the staff în the hotel was extremely welcoming, helpful and freindly who made you feel at home instantly, especially the bartender, and the 2 romanian receptionists. me and my partner asked for some more tea, coffee, sugar and milk and the amazinf receptionist diddnt hesitate to give us a big cone full of them. i will come back to this amazing hotel every single year for our anniversary. i have never enjoyed a weekend away in the UK untill i stayed in this hotel, the staff deserve a pay rise! also the cleaners are extremely freindly. i diddnt pass one member of staff who diddnt smile at me, asked if i was okay or if i needed anything the customer service îs extremely positive. i could not fault this hotel what so ever !

Positive: It did the job as somewhere to put our heads down after a day out.

Negative: It was outdated, tired looking and needed a refresh. We had to pay for parking. The shower curtains were dirty and there was black mould in the shower. There was also rust in the shower rail. You’d only go there to sleep, not for a visit in its own right.
