Summary: Property needs a desperate makeover. Noticeable wear and tear in lobby and grounds. Severely understaffed at front desk and attention to detail is lacking. I booked a 2 day stay with 3 in a room with a king and pull out sofa bed. Sofa bed had noticeable stains on the cushions and there were no linens, pillow or blanket in closet. Surprised that it was not made up upon arrival even though reservation clearly specified 3 occupants. Called down to desk in attempt to get linens brought up - no one answered. I walk down twice to get linens since housekeeping was unresponsive to desk staff initial request, and on the 2nd trip was able to secure a set and went back to make up the sofa bed myself. I am a hilton honors member, and I was disappointed.

Summary: Really disappointing. We changed out of the first room we were given because it reeked of tobacco smoke. We were there 3 days and were surprised to find out that the room was only made-up every other day. Poor enough, but after the first day, the bathroom wasn't cleaned well, we were short on towels, and the tissues in the tissue dispenser were all damp. There is a Starbucks sign in the lobby area, but no evidence of a Starbucks outlet. Poor coffee available at the cafe and the cheapest possible version of a coffee maker in the room.

Summary: DO NOT STAY HERE. Went into the Boston area to see a Red Sox game. We booked a room with a king sized bed for 2 nights for 2 adults. When we arrived for our first night, we were told by staff that a king bed was not available because “staff did not clean enough rooms today.” We were given a room with double twin beds as that was all that was available. We were promised by 2 different staff members that we could move to a room with a king bed for our next night once staff had cleaned more rooms. I watched the person at the desk write a note to hold a room for us and she promised that we would be able to switch without any issue. We went to the Sox game the next day and when we came back to the hotel later that night, we were told that a room was never held for us and that again staff hadn’t cleaned enough rooms for us to get the room that we had reserved and paid for. As compensation, we were offered a coupon for free breakfast for ONE of the 2 adults. No refund or discount on our stay was offered, just a shrug and a coupon for a hotel breakfast from the front counter. What is the point of making a reservation if the room you reserve isn’t available.

Summary: This was our 2nd time in Boston and we stayed at the Hilton Dedham Hotel and although the hotel staff was amazing however our hotel room did not represent the Hilton standard. Our room was in disrepair (water damage in both the main room and bathroom areas, tv was unplugged. The amenities were fine and included breakfast was good. Overall, I have to stay I expected more for the price. Don’t think I will be staying at this location again.
