Summary: The experience was not the greatest. The front desk staff was wonderful. The first room I was assigned to the room was dark and lights were broken. The staff changed me to another room and the thermostat was broken and the room was ice cold. Finally, after two tries the third room was perfect

Additionally, the hot water in my room did not work, and I had to switch rooms as a result. Overall, the hotel is in need of major upgrades—particularly the carpeting, walls, and interior spaces. The property would greatly benefit from a comprehensive renovation.

Summary: We were given a room on the main floor and had to be moved due to the strong marijuana smell which almost made me sick. At first, the service desk seemed to not believe us, stating it’s against the law to smoke in the hotel and they couldn’t move us but would spray the hallway. The second shift was more accommodating and we were then moved to the 3rd floor which was ok until the 2nd night when there was also a strong marijuana smell in the hallways. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.

Summary: We booked a stay at Hilton Boston/Dedham for Thanksgiving Day trip fora couple of nights. We checked in on a cold (low 30s F) Thanksgiving Day night and were given a room in which the thermostat was at 61degrees. Despite a prompt visit from “the buildings mechanic it did not improve. They booked us into a different. Better at 67 degrees but still cold because that thermostat did not work either and the bed did not have a warm comforter. The pleasant and polite staff canceled our reservation for the following night and we checked out and stayed at a different hotel in Waltham. This Hilton is in serious need of a refresh. We are going to try to get the second night refunded by Hotels.com.

Summary: Check-in and check-out were easy and seamless. The room was clean and lovely with a great view of the forest. My only negative was the heating. It was cool in the room but turning up the heat triggered a fan that blew cold air. It made my stay a bit uncomfortable.

Summary: I was traveling for work and needed a place to stay at this hotel did give me a place to stay however, when I checked in, I was given a room that was not cleaned and then they told me they upgraded my room. My new room did not seem as nice as my original room they gave me and my new room was on the main lobby level. My first night staying there I had been woken up from somebody running down the hallway yelling Security help me help me. And then I heard a woman screaming help him. I have no idea what was happening or if I was even in a safe space. I was traveling all by myself and I did not feel safe. Luckily my door was locked and I was OK inside my room, I have no idea what happened that night. The next day when I came back to the hotel after my nine hours away at my seminar, I saw that cleaning had come because they had taken my dirty towels and replaced only my shower towel. Nothing else was clean in my room. My bed was not made and they did not give me a new face towel. This day was not the type of experience is not typically the type of experience I have at Hilton.
