Positive: This was the ideal property for our family dynamics.We needed a house that had a number of rooms & a number of beds. We had adults staying that weren't couples but needed their own room. The property was easy to find down a quiet cul-de-sac and had the most outstanding views of the lake Taupo. We had a toddler with us and it was very reassuring having an enclosed front area with a high latched gate, so no worries about escaping on to the road. The fireplace was an outstanding feature and was already prepared for us to lite when we arrived. So we did. We werent sure about the outdoor baths but when you are in them they are soo relaxing we found ourselves topping them up. A must do. The beds were comfortable, even the couch in the lounge was able to be slept on. The upstairs bedroom was very spacious and couldve done with a bit more furniture as it seemed a bit empty. The Kitchen was well stocked with a number of extra items. The downstairs was a self contained space, perfect for our teenagers. It was a great property, with plenty of space and areas to retreat to so we all had quiet moments. There was a intercom looking setup which was interesting, not functional but interesting. Thank you for fantastic memories.

Negative: We loved the house. We needed to be careful of the stairs, it's a 3 level house and the stairs are quite step with small landing. So just be mindful of this. We had my elderly mother-in-law and father-in-law and there was no way that they could have gone up-and-down the stairs, but luckily, it's a 3 level, so they were able to stay on the main level and other family members stayed on the top and downstairs. It would be great to have had a dryer but this didnt limit our enjoyment of the property.

Positive: Great size for a big group. Very well-spaced out. Clean comfy beds. Great extra towels provided for the outdoor baths. Close to town and the lake, and was easy to locate. Neighbours were all very friendly which was a nice bonus.

Negative: Decor a little outdated but didn't really detract from us enjoying the property. Were not able to locate the rubbish bags.

Positive: Great location, nice and spacious house allowing teenagers to have their own chill out pad downstairs, loved the fire pit outside too!

Negative: Furnishings in master bedroom was very sparse - could have down with a chair or two. Not much hanging room for clothes in the bedrooms.
