Positive: Our family group stayed in the 3-bedroomed Tree house, which was clean, spacious and comfortable. After a long day of travels it was lovely to have a very tasty pre-ordered dinner brought to the unit. Stunning, lush gardens which were a joy to explore. No sign of host but establishment well managed by the staff. Conveniently close to the N1. Will definitely return.

Positive: Great stop-over en-route to Johannesburg. Len's cottage was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The bed was especially great and the bathroom is enormous! We loved Hillside farm and the natural pool and garden was beautiful. The lamb curry we had for dinner was exceptional. We highly rate Hillside Farm!

Positive: This is the 3rd time we stay at Hillside Farm. As a return customer I am obviously satisfied and happy about the place. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Negative: This was the first time we stayed in a different room (Old School), and I felt it wasn’t as well integrated with the rest of the rooms. There’s nothing wrong with the room itself, but being separate from the main complex made it feel slightly less enjoyable than our previous stays.

Positive: The location on the farm, really off the beaten track albeit 800m from the N1. The food provided was delicious and more than enough even for breakfast. The old school house is small but has been renovated very well,with a lovely bathroom and bedroom.

Positive: Wow... This stay was a pleasant surprise and the perfect overnight stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town. The accommodation was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The breakfast provided was so generous and more than we could eat. It was enjoyed in the privacy of our unit. There is a braai facility for those who want to braai and outdoor seating. This outdoor area made meals even more enjoyable and intimate, we walked around the farm and had a look at the animals. This was so relaxing. Highly recommended. You must give this place a try and I promise you, that you will return.

Positive: Lovely private cottage for a couple. Beautifully decorated. Gorgeous bathroom. Pretty garden. We ordered dinner which was absolutely delicious as was the continental breakfast.
