Positive: Lovely village location and the enclosed garden was perfect for children. Beautifully decorated, I don’t think the photos do it justice.

Negative: The shower wasn’t working which was a shame as there was no other stand up shower - but this couldn’t be helped.

Positive: Lovely old house in picturesque village. Plenty to do in the area.

Negative: It wasn't as clean as it could have been, with dirt inside the fridge and a fairly thick layer of dust and more under the sitting room furniture. When we arrived the house the cleaners had evidently not long left because the tile floors were still wet (and slippery!) and the stench of bleach was overwhelming, which remained until well into the following day. Unbelievably, considering the cost we paid for the week, none of the toilets had toilet roll when we arrived, except for one that had a few sheets left. The bed in the master bedroom is rock hard, so we used the 2nd bedroom instead, which was a shame because the master is lovely. The 6pm check-in and 10am checkout times are also unnecessarily mean and effectively reduce the stay to 6 days.

Positive: Plenty of space for two families and dog. Great location - close to Burford and amenities while giving a sense of privacy.

Negative: Couldn't fault the location or property. Our only issue was our lost set of house/car keys which haven't been found as yet.

Summary: Great house to relax and explore the Cotswolds.

Negative: we just have one negative comment. we were very cold in the evenings. The bedrooms were very cold of a night as well as the downstairs living area. we had no control of the heating and therefore couldn’t adjust. other than that the property was absolutely lovely
