Positive: The location is amazing once you navigate the bone-shaking ride up the narrow lane to the farm. The views of the farmland and the surrounding countryside is nothing short of spectacular. The property is really spacious - the ground floor was very easily accessible by wheelchair. The kitchen/dining/living area is cavernous! We couldn't fault the kitchen and how well it was equipped. It had everything we needed - vast refrigeration and freezing space, tons of cutlery, utensils & crockery. The carton of milk and home made bread was very welcome - Sue makes a mean fruit loaf! Our guinea fowl "guards" were unique - peering in at us from the windows. The property really is a hidden gem!

Negative: My wife has limited mobility and uses a wheelchair. It's a little unfair to add this as a criticism given that the property isn't advertised as fully accessible but we really do think Sue and Dave are missing a trick here. The property is perfectly set up to properly adapt the ground floor ensuite bedroom for disabled access. All it would need was a visit from the local NHS occupational health team to advise. If the space could be adapted for disabled use i.e. walk in shower, lower bed, grab handles etc. it would be perfect for elderly/frail parents, wheelchair users etc. while the upstairs bedrooms are perfect for able bodied party members. If such adaptations were available we'd have no hesitation in awarding 10's throughout - and think the place would be available to a much wider audience. Perhaps Sue and Dave have no need to do this as the place is already fully booked throughout the year, but it would be a grand gesture to make the property accessible for all!

Summary: Luxurious accommodation in glorious countryside - could be perfect for all with a few adaptations.

Positive: Beautiful location, immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable, nicely designed interior, quiet, very friendly owners, one of the best places I have stayed at. I can only recommend this place to everyone.
