Summary: I read a lot of reviews giving this place very poor ratings. So it was with great trepidation that we stepped through the doors. I even brought extra sheets and disinfectant spray along. But we must have got lucky with the room as it was OK. I pulled back the sheets expecting cockroaches to pool out but they looked clean, and after a nights stay, no bites. It is a low bar to base a review on but such is the state of accommodation in High Prairie. The bed was extra firm, similar to sleeping on a sheet of plywood with a thin padding. Lots of parking, with a view stretching past the dusty lot to encompass the stark but utilitarian UFA across the highway. We didn't have breakfast but the coffee was adequate.

Summary: It was a great experience and we enjoy our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food are very good. Our overall experience is excellent!

Summary: Rooms have been “updated” but still has older hotel/motel feel. Good enough for the price, not paying Big Bucks for a night. Lounge liquor seemed to be a little “watered” down, helpful to mention you want a full oz of liquor. Reasonable pricing though. Not sure about the wines, I don’t think a lot of choice. Lots of parking. Facing back of hotel so it was nice & quiet.

Summary: The hotel was clean and offered good value. My experience with check in and an issues where the room phone keep ringing offered options for improvement. I reluctantly provided my license for photocopy as I had no other accommodation options in the area.
