Positive: High Hopes is in an ideal location for a stay in Greyton - just outside of the main part of the village and therefore peaceful and quiet, but still walking distance to the village and its restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, and a large bay window that looked out onto the natural garden. Sharon who checked us in was very helpful and friendly.

Negative: There were a number of relatively minor maintenance aspects that should have been attended to in the bathroom and a number of stains on upholstery and chairs that gave the room a slightly tired feel.

Negative: Heating didn’t work - used all the firewood by 10:30pm, no TV and difficult access with an elderly mother. Very poor wifi connection. Not able to work remotely on email.
