A tranquil, peaceful setting with abundant birdlife to watch from a fabulous, protected outdoor kitchen patio area. Outdoor firepit for the cooler months (BYO firewood).
Plenty of parking for boats and trailers, this family-friendly property is close to a boat ramp if you wish to bring your own boat to explore the Murray Mouth and Coorong National Park.
Bream, Mulloway, and Coorong Mullet may be caught from the private jetty.
10 minutes drive to the quaint township of Goolwa. Visit the nearby Murray Mouth lookout, Coorong Cafe, and Hoad's fishery (in season).

Summary: We really enjoyed our three days in Hideaway Tom's. The property was extremely clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the bed very comfortable. Best of all, the little jetty and stunning view over Mundoo Channel. Fishing wasn't successful but enjoyable nevertheless!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this hidden gem on Hindmarsh Island. The home was well equipped and spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The view from the house is straight out onto the Coorong. This was especially beautiful at sunrise with the spectacular colours on the water, be sure to get up early to see this. As there is very little artificial light you can see the stars brilliant above the home. Thank you Monique for a lovely and relaxed stay.

Summary: A great place to stay - gorgeous views, fishing at the end of the garden, peace and quiet (except for the wonderful birdsong),a great place to rest and read or get out and about - so close to the Murray Mouth.. The house was very clean, comfortable and thoughtfully set up. It was also lovely to be able to bring our little dog with us. Monique was a great host, answered emails quickly and thoroughly.
