Positive: Beautiful view from porch. 4 spacious bedrooms. Kitchen was well appointed. Close enough to Blowing Rock town to enjoy dining & a spa in town. Leaf change was stunning on the drive up to cabin.
Negative: Wish there was a 2nd bathroom on 1st floor since 3 bedrooms down. We couldn’t get either thermostats to adjust up at all. Just turned off. Driveway was intense!! Glad we had a strong SUV to get up steep driveway w/2 180 degree switchbacks. I’d suggest smaller dining table since already have bar seating so you could add den furniture- a sectional would have been so nice.
Summary: Cabin worked great for our sister’s retreat!!
