Summary: Paid for this as a belated birthday present for a friend. I've driven past the hotel on numerous occasions so was interested to see what it was like inside. The location opposite the railway station suited us well as we went into Leeds for the day and I was able to leave my car on the hotel car park. The twin room (no 24) overlooked the canal and we had the French doors open during the night as it was quite warm. Wifi was very reliable and there was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. I'd be very happy to stay here again.

I would recommend Herriots for anyone stating in Skipton - and Skipton itself for a short break. For anyone taking a single room, try for no 20. I had coffee with the balcony doors open and overlooking the canal. Just great...
