Unique in that this private home has been purpose built with the needs of the overseas visitor specifically in mind. An idyllic location situated on the Western side of the island where the days are extended with the late afternoon sun and added bonus of the beautiful tropical sunsets.
The home consists of 3 bedrooms, walk thru wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms lie off the 2 main bedrooms that open out onto the wide spacious verandah and face the lagoon. Super king-size beds in each main bedroom one of which can be separated into singles and 2 single beds in the third bedroom. A third bathroom serves the third bedroom and the remainder of the house. All bedrooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout. All windows and doors are security and insect screened
The modern kitchen with full stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker is well stocked with all the kitchenware you will need for your stay. In the laundry there is a washing machine and dryer plus plenty of linen, towels and beach towels.
The spacious lounge/living area is comfortable for those stay at home days and an indoor dining table seating up to six. Sliding doors extending out onto the verandah with warm sea breezes make it an ideal climate and the verandah the perfect place to fire up the BBQ, entertain and dine alfresco. Two circular tables seating four a piece complete the outdoor dining experience.
From the verandah you step down to the cool and refreshing swimming pool [there is a gate at the top of the steps for those little ones] and the white sandy beach and blue lagoon is ten metres beyond that. There are also a number of sun loungers around the pool to soak up the sun.
Arorangi is home to a number of good restaurants and two of Rarotonga's art galleries. A convenience store for the day-to-day basics is one minute’s walk.

Summary: Great location, private, good facilities, brilliant pool. Only negatives were the quite weak shower pressures in two rooms, also ceiling fans locked on full speed in the two main bedrooms. Pity the sunloungers were not used as too uncomfortable and non-adjustable, so limited outdoor seating options. Overall a fantastic private getaway stay, whale displays 5 days out of 7 just off the reef. With the creature comfort items mentioned above, would be very happy to recommend.

Summary: Heritage is a nice spacious house on the west side of Rarotonga , lovely garden and sunsets. Unfortunately the beach infront is very rocky and shallow at low tide so no good for swimming or snorkelling , one needs to drive about 10minutes to an excellent beach. The pool in the garden is very clean but unheated so was very cold ! There is a nice restaurant a short walk up the beach for cocktails and dinner .

Summary: This place was perfect! We were three couples - so we each had a bathroom! and that pool is what made our holiday!!!! Totally recommend this house :)

Summary: This vacation rental was a nice comfy place. Although our communication once we arrived was not stellar and the hot water and AC issues were definitely a bummer. After the fact Eddie has made fair and reasonable concessions regarding our inconveniences we would definitely book this home again. VRBO as a booking company did not help us during our stay in clearing up our issues.. the communication should have been better and I am still waiting for a resolution from VRBO. The VRBO agents were very nice over the phone but were not able to help us in our time of need. Hopefully they will contact me and clear up this issue I have with their service.

Summary: The Heritage is in one of the best sunset spots on the island. Watching the sun set every day between the palm trees is a real treat. The lagoon out from the property is quite shallow, good enough for a small dip. Nice sandy beach is great for taking a walk on, a very idyllic part of the island. The property itself is large and open plan inside, with a small functional kitchen/laundry and large dining/living area. 2 of the bedrooms have ensuites and are on opposite sides of the house, nice and private for 2 couples sharing. The 3rd bedroom has another bathroom right beside it. A few reviews have mentioned the need for some maintenance on the house, and we would agree. The outside needs a bit of paint and some guttering fixed, nothing major so its a shame this hasnt been done. The showers inside are looking tired and could do with being replaced. All in all the minor maintenance issues didn't affect our enjoyment of staying at this amazing property , we had an amazing time , just remember your earplugs!

Summary: Lovely home away from home and wonderfully situated . was lovely to be greeted with a bowl of local fruits . Kitchen well appointed with tea /coffee, large cold water dispenser . So clean, comfortable beds and plenty of linen. NOW for suggestions to the owners you need to do some maintenance on your property. Needs a clothes dryer, wouldn't want to stay over summer with air conditioner locked off . Fridge needs replacing , Downpipes falling off and main verandah columns wood rotted . For the rent you charge prehaps a sky channel on the TV the radios don't work either . We wouldn't book again nor recommend the property until maintenance is attended to

Summary: Location is great and peaceful. Wonderful for families and feels like home away from home. Home could do with some maintenance to maintain the beautiful home and grounds. My family really enjoyed staying at this home.
