Positive: We loved how secluded and private the accommodation was, loved that we had our own space to relax and chill whether it be outside at the table, or lounge by the pool, or have a quick nap in the rooms we all had options. Quick and easy communication with Sarah and Manu before and during our stay and always on hand if we needed any assistance or tips and tricks whilst here in their beautiful home. We had 11 of our family stay here varying in ages we all had space to ourselves, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool the most which added to their holiday. If ever you are traveling to Rarotonga in a group, and wanting your own space then Birdys Retreat is the place for you 🥰

Negative: We couldn’t find fault with our stay.

Positive: We’ve just returned from a week at Birdy’s and the whole group of 11 of us gave it a resounding thumbs up. We were aged 11 -65. From arrival, meeting Sarah and being shown around right through to the final day when we were sad to leave, everything was ideal. Fantastic location - only 5 mins walk to The Edgewater and a handful of great restaurants. The pool was sparkling and clean and fantastic to spend days laying next to! Having sun and shade works for everyone with the undercover area being a great addition. The outdoor furniture was well used while we were there, we had platters and meals on the deck. The bedrooms were spacious, with two masters with ensuites. The house itself is modern and beautifully designed and positioned, the fence gives you privacy which is great. We felt safe, supported and it has everything you could want in beautiful Rarotonga. With air con and fans, washing machine and dryer and a full kitchen and large fridge - everything is here. Thanks Sarah and Manu we will definitely recommend to all.

Positive: Birdy's retreat was perfect for our family of 5. We had plenty of room to spread out and laze about with the stunning pool and amazing outdoor area. Everything was clean and in great working order. We loved that it was away from the busy touristy spots but close enough to great snorkeling spots and eateries. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Sarah and Manu for your great hospitality!

Negative: The water pressure was a little weak but filtered tap water made up for it.

Positive: Sarah and Manu made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay comfortable. We loved the open plan kitchen to pool area, handy to watch the kids in the pool. The shower next to the pool was also a great addition to the property. And can’t forget the 3 air cons that are throughout the house to make sleeping comfortable.

Positive: Everything! Truly felt like a home away from home. The house was impeccably clean, had everything we could possibly want and was in a great location. Sarah and Manu were amazing hosts, great communication, excellent recommendations with food and activities and were just lovely people. We all absolutely loved our stay.

Positive: Stayed here with a group of 7 friends. Fantastic house with plenty of room for us all. Fantastic large open plan living and kitchen. Excellent bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. The outside area with pool, deck, outdoor furniture and BBQ were amazing. The owners are super helpful with anything you need, even provided us with fresh Nu and if anything is an issue they are only a stones throw away and get it sorted ASAP, they even organized shuttles for our arrival and departure. Amazing sunsets and night sky's. Can't recommend this place enough 😊
