Nestled like tree houses above Ranger Creek in the wild and beautiful South Cumberland Mountains,
Hemlock Cabin and Oak Cabin offer a serenity and a nature rich environment that is mesmerizing.
These charming cabins with private back porches are perched above Ranger creek. Surrounded by a forest of Oak and Hemlocks, you will feel like you are actually sitting in the trees!
If you have a mind to, you can wander down and wade in the crystal clear mountain water.
Each cabin has a rock fire pit with chairs where you can sit out at night and watch as the stars come out, one by one.
The cabins are designed to be a cozy and comfortable retreat from the hustle of everyday life.
Queen loft bedroom, simple modern bath, outfitted kitchen with retro bright red refrigerator and all you need to feel right at home.
**There is a couch in the living room that can pull out, however we do not advise this as a sleeping arrangement for adults, as it is not the most comfortable option. (Just fine for the kids tho!)
A hibachi on a platform is on your porch for your grilling pleasure.
You are just a few minutes away from the four trailheads at our newest state park, Savage Gulf State Park as well as at the three trails in the South Cumberland State Park. Waterfalls, majestic bluffs, roaring creeks, miles and miles of beautiful trails offering so much for every skill level of nature lovers.
The new Coalmont OHV Park is just a few minutes away. Less than 30 minutes to the Caverns music venue.

Summary: We loved the property and the sounds of only nature. I’m from the country, so, the woods setting next to the creek was very relaxing to me. The space was well used and quaint. Everything we needed was right there. Got some good sleep and was within 20 minutes of Savage State Park where we went hiking. The hosts were quick to communicate when we had questions and polite.
