Positive: I really enjoyed my time at Hemingways, we received a warm welcome and our rooms exceeded expectations with the extra bed for my son and still had so much space. The Hotel was classic with timeless class. The breakfast options were fantastic and staff were so accommodating.

Positive: Hemingways is a characterful luxurious hotel, where all the rooms are spacious suites overlooking the Ngong Hills. Its a far cry from the hustle of the city of Nairobi! We find it both tranquil and elegant, and the staff go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The suites feel like film sets from Out of Africa!

Positive: The rooms are spacious and beautiful, overlooking the lush gardens. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant reservations, arranging transportation and recommending shops and activities.

Positive: Beautiful grounds. It was a breath of fresh air after a long day of travel. The room was more than accommodating. The restaurant is fabulous, too. The car service was great!

Negative: When they did turn down, they let mosquitoes in the room. Eek! The doors were a bit thin, and we could hear loud teens walking through the corridors at night.
