Summary: Lovely hotel,staff were wonderful but you can not access any of the facilities without paying £20 for 2 hours. This was very disappointing as I booked the hotel for the facilities and wasn’t expecting the extra cost which apparently you have to read the small print in the t&cs to find out even though they are listed when booking the room. Other than that the food and staff were great. We did get put in room 139 and had to complain about the noise from the function room and another guest from 136 also ended up having to be moved so I would definitely check with reception when checking in.

Summary: Rooms small and noise from patio area. Water was slow and lukewarm, making for a length and cold bath. Poor communications from booking staff. No confirmations sent to confirm booking's for restaurant or bowling. This was a large group of family and friends for a wedding at nearby venue.

Summary: The view from our room was beautiful and the bed was lovely. The hotel was very clean and the temperature was comfortable. Ghe steak and chips for lunch which was very nice and fairly priced but unfortunately these were the only postives. We recieved a bit of a cold Reception upon arrival and I didn't see 1 member of staff smile the whole time we were there. The room had no bath mat and no bottled water for the kettle. The breakfast was just shocking but the hash browns were nice. The fire alarm went off just before 11:00am and the staff clearly were not trained properly for situation which was extremely concerning and frustrating. We stayed in a suite for about 200 for the night but it wasn't worth it and we would not stay here again.

Summary: Room was small, shutter blind did not close properly and let in sunlight right above your head meaning we were awake early. Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse, shower tap was faulty meaning we had cold showers. Not what we were expecting from a golf resort and spa. Told the receptionist at checkout and no offer of a reduction in price despite the above issues.

Summary: Great hotel, fantastic bowling addition - was great to have a few games with the family. Dinner was ok, very little gluten free options on the childrens menu but the kitchen tried their best to accommodate a 10 year old. Our room was very spacious, only let down was the shower - this was broken, so trying to get 4 people bathed was a pain.

Summary: Nice out of way hotel with what looked like a nice golf course. Room OK but with view over a flat roof to a brick wall. Lift was not working, nor one of the rooms in the spa, but was comfortable otherwise. The spa is nice and not bad value at £20 for two hours. Food was OK but breakfast lukewarm as buffet style with cold plates. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Summary: Very poor for a golf, spa hotel! On arrival we were put on 2nd floor and reception informed us lift wasn't working. We had to carry heavy luggage up to 2nd floor and down again at end of our 2 night stay as lift still not working. When tried the water, we had no hot water the whole of our visit we there, just cold showers all the time.We were told by reception, the system is antiquated!! Which is disgusting for a golf, spa hotel. Restaurant staff did their best and we're very efficient and friendly, especially Vicky the waitress. Would definitely give this hotel a miss!!!!

Summary: The hotel, staff, and food were brilliant. Rooms were very clean if a touch tired. The shower let it down, low pressure and not as hot as ideal - other members in my group also had similar showers. Still worth the visit if short as not a deal breaker but more than 2 nights I personally would avoid.
