This lovely stone villa on a hill is located in an area of unspoiled nature, just outside the beautiful medieval city of Dubrovnik. The house has a modern interior, stone terraces, a private swimming pool area and spacious gazebo where one can relax on hot summer days.
House spreads over two floors. Ground floor consists of small entrance hall, bathroom with shower, one bedroom with a pair of twin beds and open space living room with kitchen and dining area. Second bedroom with queen size bed is located on the 1st floor on the gallery above living room. Next to the house, there is a smaller building - ideal for spending time in colder months - where you will find a pretty stone barbeque with seating space in there. Prepare a home-cooked meal or on evening enjoy in some of the quality local wine, play card games or read your favourite book.
Amenities include: AC, free WiFi, SAT TV, Iron and ironing board, hair dryer, washing machine, full kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, oven, stove, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, furnished terrace with private swimming pool and a private parking place for up to 3 cars.

The holiday home is less than half an hour drive away from the beautiful town of Dubrovnik, which we strongly recommend visiting during your stay. Nearest supermarket is located approximately 6 kilometers away from the property in the nearby village Orasac. Nearest beach is also 6 kilometers away from the house.

Summary: This splendid property is less than a half-hour away from the madness of the crowds at Dubrovnik (and truly a drive that is easy on the eyes!)…but it is a world away in all the positive ways you can imagine. Nestled on a hillside overlooking a rich green valley with impressive peaks around, this property is a a peaceful retreat. Not a criticism of Dubrovnik (which is a beautiful place) but our 13 and 10 year old kids were happy when we rolled back onto the property. Even after an unforgettable 9 hours on a private boat tour (made better because you couple be on the water quicker by using the uncongested local marina), returning to the villa was the highlight of the day. Great restaurants are in the area (there is a seaside resort that boasts a handful of excellent choices along a promenade). The management group was quickly responsive — even when the only question was to explain the the gate to access the property was a manually opened gate (to my defense, the gate was impressive like the rest of the property so I figured it was a fancy automatic gate 😜)…you will be happy you picked this place for you Dalmatian Coast vacation.

Summary: Serenity, peace and oasis of calm - this property looks over the hills and is completely secluded from the next property so it really does feel like you have got away from it all, whilst only being half an hour from Dubrovnik old town. The house itself was smaller than I was expecting, but it had everything you could possibly need, mod cons and really clean. The outside area is the winning factor with a lovely pool overlooking the hills, sunbathing area and 2 lovely covered areas for sitting or dining. An added bonus was the 'out house' with BBQ, although a bit odd that it was indoors! The gardens are well tendered and manucured. This property is just peace personified. We took the advise of another guest and stopped at Lidl on the way in to stock up on supplies because there really is only small supermarkets dotted about and nothing close by. Around a 10 min drive there is a lovely little bar, but you certainly couldn't walk it unless you are an olympic hiker! Management were excellent, really engaging and helpful. Love to come and stay again.

Summary: We had a perfect stay at Villa Hedera. The villa was super clean, as was the pool and outside area, and the kitchen was really well equipped, it had everything we needed to easily make meals. The bed upstairs was really comfortable too. The views of the surrounding hills from the pool are beautiful and the location is peaceful. It is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. If driving from the airport, would definitely recommend a stop at Lidl as the villa is fairly remote. We would definitely come back.
