Make memories while grilling for your group on the outdoor gas grill or hanging out around the firepit. Mother nature isn't cooperating weather-wise? No big deal- Heaven Can Wait boasts a comfortable rec room with a ping pong table, a cozy fireplace, and satellite tv. After a day on the river or hiking through the nearby GW National Forest, relax in the large, bubbly hot tub. Here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home while surrounded by the beauty of the Shenandoah River.
Some other things to note about Heaven Can Wait:
-Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, please ask!
-The base rate includes 4 people. Additional guests are an extra fee of $30 per person per night
-Dogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $100 per dog. The dogs must be OVER 20 pounds, and we will need a current rabies certificate. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that!
-There is no trash service in this area. We ask that you please take your trash with you- there is information in the cabin on where to go to take it so that you don't have to take it all the way home with you! Alternatively, housekeeping can remove it for you for a tip of $5 per bag.
- There is a separate security deposit required for this property. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions about it- we are happy to answer them!
-There is wi-fi here, but due to the nature of the provider (satellite) and rural area, the signal may not be reliable.
- The optional firewood charge of $10/night is for firewood. If you don't think you will use the firewood or would like to bring your own, please let us know! We are more than happy to refund that to you.
-PLEASE NOTE for November - March bookings: During these winter months, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is recommended in case of implement weather.

Summary: This was a beautiful cabin that is very remote ( it was about 14mi off the main highway, which about 6mi of the drive was on a gravel road, which was my only complaint) We needed to go back out twice while we were there and the gravel part of the road was not enjoyable. The cabin was very clean inside but could have used a wash down on the outside. The porch and hot tub area was pretty dirty.

Summary: Pros: everything! It was all beautiful! Basement had a bedroom and upstairs had 2! 2 full baths and 2 kitchens! My kids loved it! Nice hottubCons: couldn't get DVD player to work, couldn't figure out the grill and the fireplace was out of order. The gnats and carpenter bees were sooo bad we couldn't go outside! It's also a 30 minute drive to the closet store all on a small back road!all dminute drive

Summary: Great place to relax grandkids enjoyed the playground and hot tub ping pong is always a hit for them enjoyed watching movies at night by the fireplace and we even got to see snow falling being from Florida that was a great experience for them Would love to come back during summer time to enjoy the river and other activities

Summary: This was the perfect cabin especially with young kids. Our kids enjoyed the playground, short walk to the river, tetherball and fire pit to make s’mores. Inside was just as fun and comfy with darts and ping pong. We would highly recommend booking this cabin for a relaxing getaway!
